(02/17/06) MORRISTOWN ? High-speed winds tore through parts of New Jersey Friday, scaring residents and wreaking havoc in the process.
One of the hardest-hit areas was Morris County, where winds damaged property in various neighborhoods. In one area, powerful gusts knocked a tree over onto two nearby garages. Workers on Madison Avenue also grew frightened when winds began peeling the roof off their office building.
No one was hurt in the office building incident. However, the roof fell into the parking lot and damaged several cars.
