A rookie from Oradell brought home a slice of gold.
Hezly Rivera, 16, won a gold medal at the Paris 2024 summer Olympics along with the U.S. women's gymnastics team after a dynamic win Tuesday afternoon.
Lead by Simone Biles, the team rose to the top after their second place team all around medal in 2020.
Rivera joins Morristown gold medalists Nic Fink and Jack Alexy.
