Gas prices are starting to rise again in the Garden State and across the country.
A gallon of regular, unleaded gas costs $2.49 at one Bedminster station. In a seven-county trip across the state, that price seems to be the highest. Average prices around New Jersey are between $2.37 and $2.39. One station employee believes the prices will get even higher.
Even though the cost of gasoline has increased 30 cents in the last month, the volume of traffic on the roads in New Jersey has not decreased. Despite the climbing prices at local gas stations, experts say the national average price of gas is approximately $2.54.
