People in the area of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst will be dealing with some serious noise through next week.

Heavy weapons training began on Sept. 19 and will run every day until Sept. 30.

"Cratering munitions" exercises are being conducted, and may include mortar rounds and even Howitzer fire.

These are the highest noise levels for the entire month, which has been packed with similar drills utilizing smaller weapons.
