Heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorms caused flooding on the roads in Newark. News 12 New Jersey's Kristie Keleshian spoke with residents who were impacted by the severe weather.

All Eastbound lanes on Route 22 toward the Garden State Parkway were closed as traffic was diverted to Fairway Drive.
