Extreme heat and humidity are expected to last in New Jersey through the end of the week.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures reached 90 degrees for the fourth consecutive day. Curren says that temperatures on Wednesday reached 97 degrees – the warmest day of the year so far.
OVERNIGHT: Mainly clear skies with overnight lows around 76 degrees.
THURSDAY: Extreme heat continues. Daytime highs expected to be in the mid-90s. Potential for some scattered storms Thursday afternoon and evening. Overnight lows around 76.
FRIDAY: More possibility for storms. Daytime highs around 86. Overnight lows around 74.
