A man in Passaic County is charged with animal cruelty after a dog was hit by a small caliber bullet.

A man in Passaic County is charged with animal cruelty after a dog was hit by a small caliber bullet.
Wanaque police says officers arrested Tristan Owens from Haskell.
They say the shooting happened in the area of DuPont and Makemoney avenues in Haskell on Saturday.
The dog was taken to the Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital.
