A ceremony for a different kind of AIDS center was held in Asbury Park Tuesday.Back in 1992, Father Bob Kaedy and his staff opened The Center, which provides counseling and food for people with HIV and AIDS. On Tuesday, they opened Center House. The $4 million building will not only offer basic services, but it will house 25 single men and women. It's the state's first full-service housing center for people living with this disease. Although the groundbreaking was held Tuesday, there's still a great deal of construction left. Organizers are hoping to have the first residents move in by early December.
