Grocery store chain Weis Markets is recalling nearly 11,000 containers of ice cream sold in 197 stores, including New Jersey, because they might contain metal pieces.

Grocery store chain Weis Markets is recalling nearly 11,000 containers of ice cream sold in 197 stores, including New Jersey, because they might contain metal pieces.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, Weis Markets has issued a recall for thousands of 48-ounce containers of Weis Quality Cookies and Cream Ice Cream.
The FDA says at least one customer reported finding a piece of metal in their ice cream.
