Gov. Phil Murphy is continuing to warn residents to "not get fooled" by black ice and other hazards on the roadways.
A commercial truck ban put in place ahead of the weekend storm has now been lifted on all Interstate highways, except on I-287 northbound between exits 41 and 66.
About 2,500 vehicles were on hand for plowing and salting ahead of the deep freeze.
The governor is also warning all residents to stay away from downed power lines and call in any outages.
