Gov. Murphy, CT Gov. Lamont feud over which state has the best pizza

Feb. 9 has been dubbed “National Pizza Day,” so of course New Jersey is getting in on the celebration.
Gov. Phil Murphy even made it official by posting a video on social media announcing a proclamation for the day.
"Whereas New Jersey is the indisputable Pizza Capital of the World; now, therefore, I Philip, D. Murphy, governor of the state of New Jersey, do hereby proclaim Feb. 9, 2024, as New Jersey Pizza Day,” Murphy stated in a Twitter post.

But Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont quickly disputed the governor’s video.
"Ask the experts, and they'll tell you Connecticut has the nation's best pizza,” Lamont stated.
But any true resident of the Garden State knows that the Connecticut governor is sorely mistaken.
