AT&T launched a $6 million infrastructure project to improve wireless cell service for Metro-North commuters.
Gov. Ned Lamont joined AT&T to announce the collaboration at the Stamford Transportation Center on Monday.
"We are speeding them up. Make that experience a lot more meaningful for you. It's not a waste of time," said Lamont. "Why earn that car? You can do whatever you want. Stream, have some fun on the way there. On the way back and on the way there, study up and make sure you're sharp and ready to go."

Commuters can now access 4G LTE and 5G service from New Haven to New York line.
