Three-term Republican Congressman Mike Ferguson hung on for a fourth term in District 7 Tuesday.
Ferguson and Democratic challenger Assemblywoman Linda Stender had exchanged verbal barbs on radio and television commercials throughout the race. Stender had tried to tie Ferguson to President Bush and Ferguson had tried to paint Stender as a big spender.
Ferguson says he was confident he would win.
