Gloucester Township police are searching for two porch pirates who were caught twerking on camera.
It happened on Dec. 9 just after 6:36 p.m in the new Independence Square Townhomes in the Sicklerville section.
The victim’s Ring camera caught two suspects who ran up to the home, where the first suspect grabbed an Amazon package that contained four glasses and baby items valued at $74. The second suspect also ran up to the door and began taunting the camera by twerking before running off.
According to police, the victims then posted the video to the Ring Neighbors app to warn surrounding residents.
Two days later, the two suspects returned just after 7 p.m. The suspect who twerked at the camera approached the Ring camera while holding up their phone with the Ring Neighbors app on the screen and saying, "Come on dude, not cool bro, come on not cool............ that's my a** on the internet,” before running across the street.
The same man returned again several minutes later, holding one of the stolen glasses, which was broken, and says "Uh, I meant to give this back" while placing it on the front step and fleeing the area once more.
Authorities ask that anyone who can identity the suspects contact police.
