A Girl Scouts troop took over Adventure Aquarium in Camden on Saturday to participate in workshops with experts from the aquarium and to have a sleep over.

The approach to the George Washington bridge. Getting busy. Yeah, it is getting busy as it does this time. Let's talk about just how cold it's going to get tonight tonight. We're looking for temperatures to be around the freezing mark. And then as we go through the next couple of nights, we'll probably be looking at temperatures subfreezing around most of New Jersey obviously be colder in the pine barrens and up towards the northwest corner of the state with clear skies and a light wind. Now, for this week, our temperatures are cooling off and that all starts tomorrow morning and takes you into Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and Thursday daytime, highs are only going to be in the lower forties morning, lows should be subfreezing in just about every neighborhood of New Jersey. Then we get closer to the weekend and temperatures shoot back up and it looks like Sunday will be filled with rain and wind. At least that's the way the guidance is painting this weather scenario for the weekend right now, it may change. So make sure you keep checking back with the news 12 storm watch team for all the latest details how this is all going to evolve. But right now it does look like Sunday would be the wetter stretch of weather. Another weekend where we feature a little bit more rain for the second half of the weekend. Waking up Tuesday morning, temperatures are going to be in the lower thirties. We do see some clouds rolling in. You'll start off with some sunshine by the end of the day, we're looking at mainly cloudy skies. Daytime highs are stuck in the upper thirties and lower forties. Colder air is beginning to rush in from Canada, Canada right now with the north westerly north, north westerly wind at around 5 to 15 miles an hour. So that will keep temperatures on the cool side of seasonable. By Wednesday morning, a partly cloudy sky with temperatures hovering at or just below the freezing mark except for the shoreline, probably looking at about 33 or 34 there, Wednesday afternoon, a little, a few more neighborhoods not even making it to 40 degrees for a daytime high temperature in northwestern New Jersey, the rest of the state should stay in the lower forties. As far as Thursday is concerned, partly sunny skies again. Still on the chillier side. It looks like Thursday will probably be the coldest day of this week. Morning, lows, upper twenties, daytime highs in the lower forties and then the temperatures begin to recover a little bit for Friday under mainly sunny skies. Well, that's the pick of the week, you've got a 51 degree high temperature with mainly sunny skies, mainly cloudy skies. On Saturday. Girl Scouts troop participates in Camden's Adventure Aquarium workshops

Girl scouts are taking over Adventure Aquarium in Camden. Tonight, they're taking part in workshops with experts from the aquarium and having a sleepover photojournalist, James Crow shows us. So today we have our annual STEM conference and this is where girls ages K through 12 will meet to celebrate STEM. And this year our theme is Waves of Change. And we'll be talking about environmentalism, marine biology, animal husband tree, and any sciences that deal with our water. And this year we are excited that we get to have a sleepover here at the Adventure Aquarium with the Center for Aquatic Sciences gaggle over here. I definitely think it's always important for girls to be involved in STEM. And I say that because it's science, science is probably the coolest thing ever. So having that opportunity, having that chance to find a passion with insects and sharks and other animals that I never knew was there is amazing. And it's something I would never have had the chance to do if I hadn't have gotten into the stem field. I hope that they get a memory to take back with them to their troops and that they remember all of the amazing things that they learn in the friendships that they get to make tonight.
