Authorities are still investigating what caused a massive fuel spill on Route 3 East in Hudson County Tuesday morning.
The spill was reported around 9:30 a.m. during the morning rush hour.
Many commuters were forced to snow down as they traveled through the area, creating a 5-mile backup.
The cause of the spill was not immediately known.
No injuries were reported.
