Jersey Buzz: Free concerts this summer; Matchbox Twenty coming to Holmdel

This summer offers a free summer concert music series in Essex County, a Matchbox Twenty concert, and a Saturday in the Park event in Jersey City.

Rock band Matchbox Twenty is coming to the Garden State. Fans will have the chance to sing along to hits like “Unwell,” “3 AM,” “Push” and more. The group will bring their Slow Dream Tour to PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel Saturday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m. For tickets and more information, click here. The Essex County free summer concert music series will offer many performances throughout the summer. The 80s vs. 90s firework spectacular takes place Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Brookdale Park. Also, all-female artists and jewelers will meet at Lincoln Park in Jersey City for a Saturday in the Park event. The JC Women's Collaborative and West Side Arts & Music will bring different music styles, food trucks and friendly activities for children. This free event will take place on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
