Count Basie Center for the Arts summer gala

Carlile will headline the 2023 Count Basie Center for the Arts summer gala on Saturday, July 8. The money raised will go toward the theatre's "Forever For Everyone” endowment. It gives scholarships to study at the Count Basie Center academy of the arts and other programs similar to it. Tickets for the gala go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
The performing arts center will also donate $1 from every ticket sold this year to a different nonprofit organization in the state each month. This is all to help those organizations get more recognition. So far, they've given to organizations like Shore House,” "Inspire Life" and "The Sandy Hook Foundation." A representative from Count Basie Center for the Arts says they are the only theater center in New Jersey doing anything like it. They call it the "giving year." For more information, visit here
