Former Wall Township High School teacher accused of sexual assault faces additional charges

Prosecutors say Julie Rizzitello allegedly assaulted the second student multiple times in Brick Township back in 2017.

A former Wall Township High School teacher who was accused of having a sexual relationship with a student is now facing additional charges after a second student came forward, Monmouth County prosecutors and Wall Township police announced on Wednesday.
Julie Rizzitello, 36, of Brick Township, was arrested on July 3 and charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree witness tampering.
Prosecutors say Rizzitello allegedly assaulted the second student multiple times in Brick Township back in 2017.
Rizzitello’s detention hearing is scheduled for July 23.
