A Ringwood youth group minister was fired after 32 years on the job. On Friday, former members of the group showed their disgust with the decision.Jaimie Haftek says her heart literally crumbled when she heard St. Catherine?s Church was firing her mother, Laura, who headed the youth program. So Haftek, along with almost 15 other former members of the program, decided to let everyone in the town of Ringwood know how upset they were by painting a wall. The wall, located at Ringwood Avenue and West Brook Road, is used for legal graffiti and allows for residents to paint a message. The painters say Haftek was more than just a group leader, she made an impact on many of their lives. They also say the wall is more then just an outcry to save Haftek?s job, it's also a way to say thank you.
