New Jersey is expected to see sunny skies, but extremely warm temperatures for an extended period.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the next five of six days could see temperatures reach above 90 degrees. Curren says that with humidity, temperatures could feel as if they are above 100.
Thursday's overnight hours should see mostly clear skies with temperatures cooling into the 70s.
Friday is expected to see hazy, hot and humid conditions. There is the possibility of a thunderstorm late in the day. Temperatures are expected to reach 95 degrees.
Saturday may see cloudy conditions in the morning, but skies should clear later in the day. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper-90s.
Sunday should also see mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching into the mid-90s.
