Forbes has released its list of the 500 Best Employers in America, and a number of New Jersey-based companies are on it.

NRG Energy in Princeton was the highest state-based company in the list, coming in at #7.

Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick came in at #59, and at #112 was Volvo Group in Rockleigh.

New Jersey Transit in Newark finished at #459.

Nationally, Michelin group in South Carolina finished #1, followed by two California-based companies of Trader Joe’s and Google and #2 and #3.
