Florida sees rapid population growth as more people move out of New Jersey

A new study from United Van Lines found more people moved from New Jersey last year than any other state in the U.S. – and the state they are probably moving to … Florida.
Both Tampa and Orlando saw a surge in new residents last year.
Metro Orlando grew by 60,000 residents, while the Tampa area grew by 51,000 residents.
New Jersey was followed by Illinois, Connecticut, and New York in the study.
More information about the study can be found at the United Van Lines website.
