Authorities are trying to determine what caused a five-alarm blaze Monday at a supermarket in South Amboy.
The fire broke out just after 4 p.m. at the C-Town Supermarket on Bordentown Avenue.
Fire officials say crews from across Middlesex County were called in to help douse the flames. No injuries were reported.
This marks the second fire at the C-Town Supermarket this year. The first was an accidental electrical fire that occurred in early January. The store was set to reopen next week following renovations.
C-Town is the only supermarket in South Amboy. It opened in 2013, replacing the longtime Food Town, which closed in 2012 when it also burned down.
