State of emergency declared in New Jersey as state could get up to 10 inches of of snow

(AP) - More than 30 people have been displaced after fire swept through three homes in Jersey City.
The fire broke out in a home on Seidler Street around 1 a.m. Friday.
Public Safety spokeswoman Carly Baldwin tells The Jersey Journal the flames extended to two homes before it was brought under control nearly an hour later.
The Red Cross is helping to relocate nine families.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
