A massive fire damaged multiple homes in Newark on Friday, and fire officials were still working to put out hot spots on Saturday.
It started around 3 a.m. at a vacant building on Ninth Avenue and South 14th Street and quickly spread to several other buildings.
Four firefighters sustained minor injuries battling the blaze.
Friday's fire was just one of 11 fires the Newark Fire Department has battled since Dec. 30.
Officials say in order to prevent house fires, residents should not use their ovens as a heating source.
The American Red Cross-New Jersey Region is assisting 65 people in 19 families displaced by the fires from Friday alone.
