A New Jersey woman is suing a college, a fraternity and some students, saying she was lured into a frat party two years ago and then gang raped by some of its members and other students.
The federal lawsuit, filed in Newark last week, seeks unspecified damages.
The suit states officials at Ramapo College in Mahwah were "indifferent" while the fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha International held parties on campus that included underage drinking.
The suit states the victim, who was 19 at the time of the incident, was inebriated and had passed out when she was repeatedly raped. She says fraternity pledges were told to get girls drunk.
The college says it hasn't received the lawsuit.
Pi Kappa Alpha International denies it enabled any crimes.
