The COVID-19 vaccine mandate
at Rutgers University will remain in place after a federal judge tossed out a
request for a temporary restraining order.
The judge ruled this week that the 14 students who
filed the action, "cannot show the public interest is served” to
stop the school from making the vaccines mandatory.
In its 100-page lawsuit, the
Children's Health Defense and the students argued the mandate is "both
illegal and unconstitutional."
The university maintains it
has the right to enforce the mandate.
