FDNY: Bronx structure fire displaces several families; 4 people injured

An early morning fire has ripped through the top floor of a home leaving four people injured and several families without a home in the Bronx.
The FDNY fire chief told News 12 the building fire on 4094 Edson Ave. started around 4 a.m. When firefighters arrived, several people were seen on the top floor of the building.
Firefighters evacuated residents, and were able to put out the fire.
Four injuries were reported with three being minor injuries while the fourth victim suffered serious smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is on the scene tending to the victim as well.
