A father and son from Middlesex County pleaded guilty to charges tied to an explosion in Manville last July.
Police say Thomas Kaiser and Erich Kaiser set off a homemade explosive device. It sent shrapnel into a neighborhood, striking a 34-year-old man who was hospitalized.
Thomas faces up to six years in prison, while Erich could get six months. Both were ordered to pay damages to victims.
Sentencing is set for next month.
