Family looking for missing Navy veteran from New Jersey

Matt Kemper, a 46-year-old Navy veteran from New Jersey, was last seen on Jan. 5 in Las Vegas when checking out from the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa.

A 46-year-old Navy veteran from New Jersey is missing.
Matt Kemper was last seen around 10 a.m. on Jan. 5 in Las Vegas when checking out from the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. His phone was last pinged an hour later in Glendale, Nevada.
His family is looking for help searching for him.
Kemper’s family describes him as a Korean American male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 130 pounds, with no piercings and straight teeth. The family says he wears glasses, a baseball cap, has salt-and-pepper hair, wears jeans, work boots and flannel-type shirts. He drives a gray, four-door Chevy Colorado diesel truck with Utah plates G325FZ.
Kemper’s family says he is not dangerous or violent. He sent some concerning texts to multiple people before not showing up for work at a national park in Arizona, according to the family.
