Fall back into News 12 as we returned this morning to Bloomfield News Falls, Lauren do, is that an animal shelter this morning? And you've been showcasing all these adoptable adorable pets? Who are we meeting now? You need more? Ok. Now, for the man of the hour here is what all the truth. Come on. So, Melissa, you were at the Bloomfield animal shelter this morning, here's sniper and sniper has been here for how many years now. Snipers been here, unfortunately, for two years and so it's ready. He's ready to go. He's ready for his forever home and his happy ending. All right. So people are watching right now and what type of forever home does sniper need? So, sniper needs a home where it's older Children. Um, and he's the only dog. He's only lived as an only dog and uh small kids. He might, you know, he might knock into them. So we, we appreciate bigger kids. And how much does this, this boy weigh? Sniper weighs about 92 pounds right now. He's a little, uh, land seal. We call him, but obviously I could tell he's so loving. He's very well trained and happy dog and super friendly and super energetic and other animals. No dogs. But can he do cats? No, he'd have to be the only by sniper. Thanks for coming out and playing with us. I see one more treat too. By the way that he has not gotten, you need that one and he does tricks too. So, so we got to adopt this sniper over here sniper. I don't want him to jump on me. Oh, hi. Sniper. Come on. Adopt this week. Turn around. We gotta get the money shot. We gotta see your face sniper over here. There you go. Adopt sniper. We're at the blue field animal shelter. Lauren Doone. He told you, ok.

Back into news 12 as we return this morning to Bloomfield, our Lauren de is at an animal shelter in Lauren. She's been surrounded by adoptable pets all morning. Who are we meeting? Now? I know this one I want and I'm being biased right now. This is Lo lo and we have Gucci and Jacqueline Bloomfield Animal Shelter. We have Melissa here too. I mean, these dogs, they need to go together, right. They are super bonded. They are best friends. They love each other and they have to stay together. I mean, their names too were just so cute. We came, yeah, we, it took a little bit to figure it out but we said everyone loves a lo and so hopefully they love to. There you go. Look at that. They're so cute together and they play together and what type of home are they looking for? So they would likely do well in most homes. They don't mind other dogs. They don't mind cats. They're good with kids, they just need an experienced home. You know, these are two, you know, two bigger dogs, not him, but he's got a big personality. So we just, you know, prefer experienced, you know, adopters, but otherwise they can fit anywhere. So how many dogs do you have available here? So, we currently have about 10 dogs out of roughly 16 or so that are in our total camp. And then the cats, we've been playing with the cats all morning. We have, we have yes, our cat adoption event, Sunday at the Civic Center, not here, the center here and then, but other than Sunday's adoption event, we are open, you know, daily by appointment for adoption. So, you know, we you can meet them on any other day. I just want to come and hang out with them. You are so good Gucci. You're having a good old time over there and we're having really fun. And fall back into News 12 as we go back to Bloomfield this morning. News twelve's Lauren de is at an animal shelter, Lauren, you've been surrounded by such cute pets all morning. Who are we meeting now? I don't, do you hear it? So we were with the cats now we're with the dogs. We still have the animal. So how many dogs do you have available for adoption or even fostering? So available dogs we have about, I would say 10 out of probably 16 in total capacity. You know, what type of breeds are they, the majority of them are people, which is, you know, the most, the biggest majority in the area I would say. So we're not any different than any other shelter, but currently all of them are fully breeds and they've been rescued out of all of the dogs. We have only one is the rest have been found or stray, you know, found a stray dogs. Ok. So they were inside overnight. We brought them outside just so we could show them off. So let's warn everyone. It's about to get very loud. So let's go, let's go, let's go do it. This is our newest little guy here. Oh, this is Gucci Gucci and he's bonded or he was found with this little guy Louie and they love each other. They were found together and he's the boss. He might be bigger but he's uh he's the boss. Look at the fun. We have Nina here pa and then Xena, here, this is Zena and this is sniper and we are gonna highlight sniper coming up. Right. Yeah, sniper is our special boy. When you, our only owner surrender out of the total um you know, intake capacity that we have right now from two years ago. All right. Well, we need to learn more about you. Ok? And he's very excited of New Jersey. We'll bring you up. Oh.
