Teachers at a new state-of-the-art elementary school in Stafford describe the school as a fairy tale come true for children.
The Ronald L. Meinders Primary Learning Center was inspired by and named after the district superintendent. The principal calls the school a high-tech haven for the 350 enrolled kindergarteners and preschoolers. The children learn everything from cooking in the life skills room to science experiments in the lab.
Each of the school?s kindergarten classrooms are equipped with a 32-inch flat panel television and state-of-the-art computers. Parents also had a hand in designing the building. The Enchanted Forest on the school?s walls was hand-painted by parent volunteers.
