FAA: 2 injured after small plane collides with tree, flips over onto roof at Central Jersey Regional Airport

A single-engine Cessna plane crashed Tuesday afternoon at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Manville, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

A single-engine Cessna plane crashed Tuesday afternoon at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Manville, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The incident happened Tuesday around 4 p.m.
Officials say the plane collided with a tree and then flipped over onto its roof.
Two people, a student pilot and pilot instructor, both of whom are in their 70s, were onboard the plane. Both suffered minor injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the cause of the crash.
The plane is registered out of Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, according to FAA records.
