Federal prosecutors say a former teacher has admitted soliciting a boy to produce images of sexually explicit conduct in exchange for money.
David Adams pleaded guilty Wednesday to online enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity.
The 30-year-old Branchburg man faces at least 10 years in prison when he's sentenced Nov. 30, and he could receive a life term. He also must register as a sex offender.
Prosecutors say Adams communicated with the child, who lives outside New Jersey, during a four-month period in 2014. They communicated through text and video chats.
Adams paid the boy for live video chat sessions during which the victim engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Prosecutors say the victim sent Adams the images and took part in the chat sessions.
