Ewing woman sues Wawa after falling in open parking lot manhole

A 20-year-old woman sued Wawa after she tripped and fell into an open manhole last year at a Wawa parking lot in Florence.
Courtney Barlow says she suffered permanent damage because of the accident and will have to spend large sums of money for medical care and attention.
The incident happened in October 2023 at 2060 North Route 130.
According to the lawsuit, Barlow "has been and will in the future be disabled and prevented from attending to her necessary affairs and business."
The lawsuit alleges Wawa was negligent and failed to prevent the injury from happening in its own parking lot.
Wawa hasn't commented on the lawsuit.
