Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo announced Saturday that appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine are canceled on Feb. 22 as the county did not receive its shipment from the federal government.
The state was previously hit by a snowstorm Thursday into Friday, which caused delays of many COVID-19 vaccine shipments.
All first dose vaccine appointments have been canceled Sunday, and appointments for both doses were canceled for Monday.
The county is administrating about 3,000 shots a day.
