Jersey Buzz: Erykah Badu to perform in NJ; Frankie Valli postpones show due to illness

Four-time Grammy-winning neo-soul singer Erykah Badu will join the 2023 summer concert circuit with her nationwide Unfollow Me tour that kicks off Sunday, June 11. The tour will stop at the Prudential Center in Newark on Tuesday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. Special guest Mos Def will open the show.
The Eric Wyatt Quartet is just one of the jazz bands you'll see if you check out the free Jersey City Jazz Festival this Saturday and Sunday. The festival will feature over 100 musicians, three stages, a VIP lounge and more. For more information, click here.
Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons shows for this week are all postponed. It was revealed in a social media post that the Newark native has the flu and needs to rest. The group was scheduled to perform Thursday night at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. The show is now rescheduled for Nov. 29.
