? Construction on a Point Pleasant water tower could be put on hold due to some endangered birds that have built their nest there.
The town had to stop work on the tower due to inclement weather. Work is scheduled to resume this spring. In the meantime, Osprey birds made the tower their home. The mayor of Point Pleasant says he is waiting to hear from the Department of Environmental Protection on whether workers can relocate the nest to complete the project.
Many neighbors say they enjoy bird watching, but some don?t like the noise they make. One person is considering forming a group called Neighborhood Osprey Watch, or NOW.
