An Emerson man faces charges of driving while intoxicated after crashing into a home on Fourth Avenue in Westwood just after 3 a.m. on Monday.

Police arrested the driver and took him to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not reported any other injuries.

The house sustained minor damage.
