New York City?s emergency responders participated in a drill Sunday to test their reaction time to better help Bronx residents.
The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) hosted a multi-agency drill called ?Trifecta? at the Maspeth Rail Yard. Personnel had to respond to simulated situations including hazardous spills, explosions, finding weapons of mass destruction and rescuing trapped victims.
The OEM says the drills are designed to better improve response times.
