An elderly couple reported missing in Bergen County Thursday was involved in a car accident in the Bronx Friday morning.

River Edge residents Thomas Castello, 92, and his wife Isadora, 91 are being treated at the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

Police say that the couple was reported missing after getting lost on their way home from dinner. 

Police say that the couple stopped at a service station on Route 120 in Carlstadt around 10:45 p.m. Thursday and told a gas station attendant that they were lost and needed directions back home.

It was not immediately known how they ended up in the Bronx.
