Residents in the township of Edison have a new mayor as 34-year-old Jun Choi was sworn in Sunday.
Governor-Elect Jon Corzine swore in Choi, who made history by becoming Edison?s first Asian mayor and youngest person to hold office. Choi beat three-time incumbent George Spadoro to take over the reigns in Edison.
During the ceremony, Choi spoke about the major challenges facing Edison. He says he is ready to tackle the issues that matter most and vows to make a profound impact on the community.
