A South Edison father who says he found pornographic images on his children's school-issued laptops says he has finally spoken to school administrators about the matter.
Kevin Corley says that he notified administrators at Washington Elementary School last year about the pornographic images he found on the laptops. However, he says nothing was done to fix the problem, and he found more this year.
Corley now says that he met with school administrators Friday afternoon and they will look into the issue.
"I hope they either find a way to fix this or they decide that their Chromebooks are going to stay at school where they are on a secure server and not taken home," says Corley. "There's no protection and every parent can't keep a lookout 24/7 with their child on the laptop."
News 12 New Jersey tried reaching out to the Edison Township school district about the concern, but did not get a response back.
