Thanksgiving is just two days away and some travelers are already on their way to their destinations.
Those looking to get a head start on their holiday travel plans had the right idea in booking flights from Newark Liberty International Airport Tuesday. Most people say there were very short ticketing and check-in lines. However, one long line everyone had to wait on was the security line. Transportation Security Administration officials say all travelers should read the rules before coming to the airport to speed up the security lines.
Port Authority officials are estimating about 533,000 people will travel out of Newark Liberty International Airport. All travelers should check the status of their flights before heading to the airport. Port Authority officials also recommend leaving plenty of time to check in and get through security.
