First it was grief, now community members are feeling outrage as protestors in East Orange took to the streets Friday over the murder of a respected businessman.
Almost 100 people turned out to remember 32-year-old Allen Cuff. Police say Cuff was fatally shot during an attempted robbery Wednesday. The robbery occurred at Cuff?s clothing store on Main Street. According to witnesses, three men in a four-door green Honda Accord drove away from the scene.
Many in the community say the violence is too much. They are urging the entire community, not just police, to institute change. Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in Cuff?s murder. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the police department.
