Authorities say an apparent explosion has damaged a duplex home in a Trenton neighborhood.
But it's not yet clear what caused the blast.
The explosion on Wayne Street was reported around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say two people were taken to a hospital for evaluations, but further details on their conditions were not immediately available.
Some nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution while emergency responders moved to secure the area.
The blast came one day after a similar incident in Paterson. Two multifamily houses were destroyed in that explosion, which officials say may have been caused by a gas leak.
