16h agoA driver lost control of her car Sunday night and crashed into a home in an Ocean County beach community, leaving the garage severely damaged and the home leaning to one side.
The crash happened on Barnegat Lane in Mantoloking near Mantoloking Road. News 12 New Jersey was told the woman driving the vehicle lost control of her car. She first drove into a neighboring driveway, drove through the fence and then into the house.
No one was home during the time of the crash.

News 12 was told the driver was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries but is expected to be OK.
There is no word yet on why the driver lost control of her vehicle. Crews will determine if the home is salvageable.
