A driver is facing charges after hitting a woman and her two young children outside a preschool in Freehold.
Police said Angela Arrigo was drunk when she drove her car outside Bloom Academy. The family was forced to jump out of the way before being struck by the out‑of‑control vehicle.
Arrigo, 68, was charged with driving under the influence.
The mom and her two children were taken to the hospital and later released.
