Dozens of University Heights residents without power for second day

Going home to cool off wasn?t an option for thousands of Bronx residents who lost power Wednesday afternoon. Con Edison crews have been working though the night to fix an outage in University Heights.

Going home to cool off wasn?t an option for thousands of Bronx residents who lost power Wednesday afternoon. Con Edison crews have been working though the night to fix an outage in University Heights. In an effort to keep cool, some residents took relief in air-conditioned buses provided but the Office of Emergency Management. The Red Cross is also on hand to provide water and food. Officials from Con Ed say they have crews working to fix the outages at all affected areas throughout the borough.
